The congregation of Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, has hosted a monthly soup and salad
luncheon monthly for decades.
This Sunday’s edition will benefit Gregg Scroggs of Cygnet, who has been battling cancer.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will also provide supplemental funds for Scroggs.
As always, the luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. As always
donations will also benefit the Lutheran Association for Missionary Pilots.
The menu includes vegetable and ham and bean soups, chicken and submarine sandwiches, along with a
variety of salads and desserts.
