TODAY
The Music at the Forefront series presents a concert by Due East – flutist Erin Lesser and percussionist
Greg Beyer – at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.
THURSDAY-SUNDAY
The Department of Theatre and Film presents "Summertime" by Charles L. Mee Thursday, Friday and
Saturday at 8 p.m. with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.. in the Joe E. Brown Theatre of
University Hall. Directed by Sara L. Chambers, the romantic comedy deals with the ideas of love at first
sight, relationships, and sexual orientation. "Summertime" begins at 8 p.m. The production is
for mature audiences due to subject matter and language. Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for
students and seniors (age 55 and older). There is a $3 surcharge for tickets purchased on the day of the

THURSDAY
World Percussion Night at Bowling Green State University features the Balinese Gamelan, Taiko and
Afro-Caribbean ensembles. The performances begin at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts
Center.
SATURDAY
The Young People’s Concert series continues with "Home for the Holidays," featuring music from
the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque period performed by the Early Music Ensemble. Along with
singers, the instrumental ensemble includes the recorder, lute, viola da gamba, Renaissance fiddle,
cornetto and crumhorn. The concert begins at 11 a.m. in Bryan Recital Hall. Admission is $1 for children

The School of Art annual Faculty/Staff Exhibition opens. The works, in a variety of media, will be
displayed through Dec. 14 in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard Wankelman galleries in the Fine Arts
Center. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, 6-9 p.m. Thursdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
