Wes and Jeane (Smith Kline) Welty, formerly of Risingsun, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary
on Friday.
They were married Sept. 16, 1961 at the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints, Bradner.
The couple lived in Risingsun until 1994 when they moved to Bowling Green. In 2004 they moved to
Westerville, where they now reside.
The Weltys have four children, Kent Kline, Elmore; Kim Welty and Kyle Welty, both of Westerville; and
Kristi Marshall, Worthingon. They also have five grandchildren, Jessica, Angela, Tonia, Grace and Lewk;
and four great-grandchildren.
Jeane Welty was formerly employed at Wood County Hospital. Wes Welty, a Navy veteran, retired from his
own building business in 1990.
