PERRYSBURG – The Reel Opinions Film Series will view "The War of 1812" Oct. 20 at 10:30 a.m. at
the Way Public Library.
The event is co-sponsored by the library and WGTE Public Media.
The two-hour film will be shown on the big screen on the lower level, with a shot discussion to follow.
Rick Finch, site director at Fort Meigs, will describe the filming of landscape scenes at the fort during
the production of this documentary, as well as discuss the role of Northwest Ohio in the war and its
outcome.
