Funds for Haiti
WAYNE – Mt. Zion Church, 7481 Bays Road, at the corner of Reynolds Road in rural Wayne, will hold a day
of fundraising on June 26 from noon to 3 p.m.
The goal is to raise $20,000 with proceeds to rebuild the Lovelink Children’s Home in Port-au-Prince,
Haiti. In addition, church members Bob and Joanne Boyer will be making a mission trip to help with the
work in July. Part of the money will also help fund their trip.
There will be a soup, salad and sandwich luncheon, a bake sale and a silent auction.
The public is invited to attend and support this event. Direct donations will also be accepted.
July Bible schools
Churches holding Vacation Bible Schools during the month of July are encouraged to submit all the
information on their school by June 22. A story on the July schools is scheduled to run on June 24.
