TODAY
The 1963 romantic thriller "Charade," directed by Stanley Donen and starring Audrey Hepburn and
Cary Grant, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater of Hanna Hall.
THURSDAY
Seth Berg, BGSU Distinguished Alumnus Reader in Poetry, will share his writing as part of the Prout
Chapel Reading Series at 7:30 p.m. in Prout Chapel.
The 1995 Japanese film "Love Letter (Letters of Love; When I Close My Eyes)" will be screened
at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater.
Jazz Lab Band 1, directed by David Bixler, will perform at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical
Arts Center.
Dr. Matthew Donahue will talk on "The Heavy Metal T-shirt in Popular Culture and Beyond" at 11
a.m. in room 308 of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
SATURDAY
The University of Wisconsin at Stout Faculty Exhibition opens in the Willard Wankleman Gallery of the
Fine Arts Center and runs through Nov. 13.
OCT. 24
Graphic designer Mark Solsburg discusses "Type as a Tool, a Toy, and a Teacher" at 7:30 p.m. in
the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Theater.
OCT. 25
The 1974 musical "Phantom of the Paradise," directed by Brian De Palma and loosely based on
"Phantom of the Opera," will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in Gish Film Theater.
AT THE GALLERIES
"Millennium Sculpture: Concept, Craft, Tradition and Trends in American Sculpture" continues
through Nov. 19 in the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery in the School of Art.
