TOLEDO – The Mandragora Tango ensemble will play Thursday from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Toledo Party
Hall, 4052 Airport Highway.
Mandr?°gora Tango is a collective of tango musicians based in Minneapolis. The group says their musical
form defies categorization," living somewhere between classical, jazz and world beat. Mandr?°gora
dances across those lines and creates a music that is fresh, engaging, danceable and nostalgic."
Their performance in Toledo will be preceded from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.,by a musicality workshop for
musicians and tango dancers taught by bandoneon player Bob Barnes.
