WALBRIDGE – A family storytime will be held Tuesday at the library here at 11 a.m.
Kids and caretakers, join the staff for stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities.
Storytimes are also scheduled the last two Tuesdays of the month.

Yak about ‘Okay for Now’
"Snack and Yak," a book discussion group for Bowling Green sixth through eighth-graders, will
be held Sept. 20 in the middle school library at 2:30 p.m.
The book for this month is "Okay for Now," by Gary D. Schmidt. Students can eat a snack,
discuss the book and chat about life.
Copies of the book are available at the Children’s Place at the Wood County District Public Library.
Dodgeball starts Sept. 16
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is now accepting sign-ups for the third to sixth grade After School
Dodgeball Frenzy at the Bowling Green Community Center, 1245 W. Newton Road.
This fun program consists of randomly assigned teams every week, a site supervisor and soft "shark
skin" dodgeballs.
Session 1 will run on Fridays from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m., beginning Sept. 16 and ending Oct. 21. The
registration deadline is Friday.
Session 2 will begin Oct. 28 and end Dec. 16. Registration deadline is Oct. 21.
The cost for one six-week session is $22 for Bowling Green residents and $30 for non-residents. A weekly
drop-in rate of $5 may be considered if numbers permit.

Tea time for girls, dolls, moms
MAUMEE – "A Tea – My Doll, My Mommy and Me" will be held at the Wolcott House Museum, 1031
River Road, on Sept. 17.
The tea is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Guests should bring their favorite doll and mother or another special
person.
