Perrysburg Care and Rehabilitation to host free health fair for seniors

PERRYSBURG – Perrysburg Care and Rehabilitation Center will hold its second annual Community Health Fair
on Sept. 15 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. The location will be the care center on Starbright Boulevard.
Seniors from Wood and Lucas counties are encouraged to attend. The fair is free to the public.
More than 10 area businesses catering to the needs of seniors will be available to answer questions and
provide information. Representatives from Interim Healthcare will conduct cholesterol screenings ($25)
and will provide flu shots ($25, and free to Medicare and Paramount recipients) blood pressure, glucose
and bone density screenings.
Perrysburg Care and Rehabilitation Center will also have a registered nurse to answer health questions.

Other area businesses attending include: rehabilitation centers, hearing centers, estate planners,
hospice providers, and home healthcare agencies.
Door prizes, a 50/50 raffle with proceeds to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s,
and light refreshments will be provided.
