Through Oct. 31 at Wendy’s restaurants in the greater Toledo area, customers can purchase coupon books
for $1 to hand out to trick-or-treaters for Halloween.
The books include 10 coupons for a free Wendy’s Jr. Frosty.
Proceeds from the sales benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption which supports Wendy’s Wonderful
Kids Program to find homes for children waiting in foster care.
There are more than 145,000 children who are waiting for permanent homes in North America.
In 2010, the Wendy’s Halloween program raised over $2 million for foster care adoption throughout the
United States and Canada.
Participating restaurants include Bowling Green, Rossford and Perrysburg.
