Auditions for 3B Productions’ staging of the musical "Hairspray" will be held Monday and
Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m. at Garden Park Christian Church, 8605 Salisbury Road, Monclova.
The production is especially seeking African-American performers, both teenagers and adults.
Those auditioning should be prepared to sing 32 bars of a song from the show or in the same upbeat 1960s
pop style. They need to bring their own sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. There will also be
a dancing audition.
Show dates are Sept. 16, 17, and 18.
"Hairspray" will be directed by Beckie Heck with choreography by Bob Marzola, and music
direction by Janine Baughman,
