Parks selling bulbs and seed
The Friends of the Wood County Parks’ annual Bulb and Birdseed Sale to support the Wood County Parks is
in progress. Information and order forms can be downloaded from the web site at woodcountynet.org/~fwcp,
or by calling parks headquarters at (800) 321-1897.
Order forms are due Oct. 12 and the pick-up date is Oct. 22 between 10 a.m. and noon at the parks
headquarters, 18729 Mercer Road.
Proceeds are used to provide programs and facilities beyond the budget of the Park District.
Putting garden page to bed
This will be the final garden page of the season. For the next few months, any garden club news may be
found with other organizations on the Lifestyles page, and any other garden-related story will be found
on the Farm page.
The garden page will return next spring.
