577 Foundation gears up for fall with adult classes in cooking, stained glass, pottery

PERRYSBURG – The 577 Foundation is offering the following adult programs during the month of September.

Stamped cards and paper crafts – Tonight from 6:30 to 8:30, $20 fee. Create six projects with a fall
theme/colors. A variety of greetings cards and a treat container filled with confections.
Sept. 7 from 6-8 p.m – Add color and diversity to landscape. Learn to select trees, shrubs, perennials,
ornamental grasses & spring bulbs that provide multi-season value & color for your
landscape. $20 fee.
Sept. 9 – 6:30-8 p.m. Flora and Fauna cards – Dry own garden flowers and leaves, create a one-of-a-kind
work of art into cards. $13 fee.
Sept. 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Technology of Freedom. A workshop based on "The
Work" by Byron Katie. Find relief from chronic suffering; mental, emotional, physical. Fee is $50.

Sept. 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10 from 1-3 p.m. – Writing Clinic: Critiquing. $25.
Sept. 23 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. – Dim Sum Cooking – $20 fee. Meal included. Dishes: lemon grass tea,
YungChow fried rice, shrimp balls, spring rolls, tapioca sweet potato coconut pudding.
Sept. 24 from 9 a.m.-noon or 1:30-4:30 p.m. – Saturday Pottery, featuring clay animals. $13.
Sept. 28 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. – Stained Glass Butterfly Ornament. Students will cut, foil and solder a
stained glass butterfly with bronze stake for use in flower beds. Many colors of glass available, all
tools & materials provided. No experience necessary. Fee: $23.
Sept. 30 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – Painting the Bald Eagle. Paint the Bob Ross way. Some supplies and snack
provided; lunch on your own. Fee: $50.
