Lake’s Teneyck earnes return to state diving meet
Samantha Teneyck is headed back to the Division II state diving championships.
The Lake junior finished fourth in the one-meter event during Thursday’s district meet at Bowling Green
State University.
She scored 366.15 points to advance to Wednesday’s state meet at Branin Natatorium in Canton. The top
eight finishers in the district meet qualified for state.
Tenecyk was 11th at state last year.
DISTRICT HOCKEY
Northview 9, Perrysburg 0
In Sylvania, fourth-ranked Northview scored five third-period goals to finish off its rout of the Yellow
Jackets in a first-round game at Tam-O-Shanter.
Northview advances to face Anthony Wayne on Wednesday.
Cam Studer stopped 51-of-60 shots for Perrysburg, which managed just three shots on goal in the game.

Lake beat Eastwood, 34-14. Aaron Witt scored 12 points for Lake, 13-0 overall. Zeb Perkins and Josh
Harper were Eastwood’s leaders.
Woodmore beat Elmwood, 33-25. Austin Lynch and Brett Jones were Elmwood’s leaders.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Lake beat Eastwood, 47-41. Conner Bowen led Lake (11-2) with 16 points, followed by Todd Walters with 11
and Jared Rettig with nine. Eastwood’s leaders were Tim Hoodlebrink, Brennan Seifert and Zach Jacoby.

Woodmore beat Elmwood, 39-28. Jayden Edwards, Logan Russell and Jordan Andrich were Elmwood’s leaders.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Perrysburg beat Rossford, 31-2. Emily Baer had seven points for Perrysburg, while Christine Pavelko,
Lauren Smith, Taylin Hunter and Katie Diehl each had four. Perrysburg is 10-1 and 5-0 in the NLL.
Bowling Green beat Timberstone, 18-14 for its first win of the season. Kinsey Kale and Drew Peterson each
had seven points for the Bobcats.
