Prep Roundup – Otsego girls top Gibsonburg (for 1-26-11)

Otsego’s girls notched a 44-42 victory over Gibsonburg in a Suburban Lakes League game Tuesday.
In other games in the SLL, it was: Woodmore 58, Eastwood 49; and Genoa 60, Elmwood 44.
In a boys Toledo Area Athletic Conference game, Ottawa Hills defeated Northwood, 66-32.
And in a non-league boys game, Maumee topped Otsego, 60-39.
GIRLS
Otsego 44, Gibsonburg 42
In Gibsonburg, Hannah Greulich had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Otsego, now 6-10 overall and 4-4 in the
SLL.
Gibsonburg (3-11, 1-5) was led by Katey Dushane with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Woodmore 58, Eastwood 49
In Luckey, Audrey Thorbahn scored 16 points, Kalyn Tate added 11 and Katie Blausey 10 as Woodmore held
Eastwood to nine points in the first half.
Woodmore is 9-6, 6-2.
Jordan Frobose had nine points for Eastwood (1-13, 0-7).
Genoa 60, Elmwood 44
In Jerry City, Alyssa Meis led three Genoa players in double figures with 12 points.
The Comets (14-1, 6-1) also received 11 points each from Emily Mock and Jessica Feller.
For Elmwood (2-11, 2-6), Brittany Gross had 11 points, and Reagan Briggs, Andrea Wink and Sierra Beckford
each added 10.
BOYS
Ottawa Hills 66, Northwood 33
In Northwood, the Green Bears out-scored Northwood 34-8 in the first half and cruised to the TAAC win.

OH’s Lucas Janowicz led all players with 17 points. OH is 11-1, 5-1.
John Romstadt led the Rangers, now 3-10, 2-5, with 12 points.
Maumee 60, Otsego 39
In Tontogany, A.C. Limes scored 14 points and Ryan Smoyer added 12 for Otsego (3-9).
Maumee (8-6) received 14 points each from Shawn Flanagan and Austin Nowak.

Perrysburg wins
Perrysburg is 2-4 after a 2,366-2,227 win over Anthony Wayne. Steve Cassity led the Yellow Jackets with a
255 game and 446 two-game total. Drew Kuhr added a 244 game.
BG loses to Fostoria
Fostoria defeated Bowling Green Saturday in a non-league match 2,374-2,049. Cameron Walter led BG with a
201 game and 375 total.

Perrysburg defeated Eastwood, 36-29. Leaders for Eastwood were: Reagan Boice and Jaci Juergens.
Lake beat Eastwood, 31-22. Juergens was Eastwood’s leading scorer.
Eastwood defeated Otsego, 28-27, to finish the season 10-3. Leaders for the Eagles were: Boice, Juergens,
and Maddie Kemner.

Perrysburg beat Timberstone, 47-19. Christine Pavelko led Perrysburg with 11 points, while Taylin Hunter
had eight and Beth Glowacki scored seventh. Perrysburg’s record is 3-1.
