St. Francis earns No. 1 seed for district hockey

SYLVANIA — Top-ranked Toledo St. Francis earned the No. 1 seed for the district high school hockey
playoffs that begin Monday at Tam-O-Shanter.
Fourth-ranked Sylvania Northview was the No. 2 seed, while sixth-ranked Toledo St. John’s was the No. 3
seed and Findlay was the No. 4 seed.
Bowling Green was seeded fifth and plays 14th-seeded Sylvania Southview in a first-round game Feb. 19 at
6 p.m.
The BG-Southview winner plays St. John’s or 15th-seeded Ottawa Hills in the quarterfinals Feb. 23 at 6
p.m.
Perrysburg was seeded 13th and plays Northview in a first-round game Feb. 17 at 8 p.m.
The Perrysburg-Northview winner plays seventh-seeded Anthony Wayne or 11th-seeded Springfield in the
quarterfinals Feb. 23 at 8 p.m.
The semifinals are Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 at 7 p.m., followed by the championship game March 5 at 7 p.m.
The winner advances to the state semifinals.
