Noted jazz alto saxophonist Jim Snidero will be a special guest at the faculty jazz ensemble’s Wednesday
night session from 8:30 to midnight at 149 North, 149 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
Snidero, who will be working with students at the Bowling Green State University, has issued a number of
CDs under his own name, including "Crossfire" on the Savant label in 2009.
The New York-based musician has also done extensive session work including playing with Frank Sinatra,
Tony Bennett, Sting as well as the Mingus Big Band and orchestras led by Maria Schneider and Toshiko
Akiyoshi.
Regular members of the faculty ensemble are: Dave Bixler, alto saxophone, Chris Buzzelli, guitar, Jeff
Halsey, drums, and Roger Schupp, drums.
