BG men share East lead (02-04-11)

After arriving back in Bowling Green with a victory during an extended stay in DeKalb, Ill., the Falcon
men have a very short preparation time for Saturday’s contest against Western Michigan. Tipoff is
scheduled for 5 p.m. after BG’s women host Ball State, starting at 2.
Bowling Green posted a 73-70 overtime win at Northern Illinois on Wednesday. The Falcons are finally at
.500 (11-11) after a 1-8 start to the season. BG is 10-3 in its last 13 games, including a 6-2 mark in
the Mid-American Conference. The Falcons have three MAC road wins, including a double-overtime and an
overtime victory.
At 6-2, the Falcons are tied with Buffalo for first place in the MAC East. Kent is 5-2.

players making major contributions in different games. Six of BG’s eight MAC games have been decided by
10 points or less.
