Clarence Euler

Clarence Charles Euler, 85, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died January 24, 2011 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling
Green.
He was born September 6, 1925 in Washington Twp. to David and Marie (Hickle) Euler.
He was a 1943 graduate of Washington Twp. School. Clarence served in the U.S. Army from 1944-46 in the
Asiatic Pacific. He received four Bronze Stars, a Victory Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.
Clarence was a lifelong farmer.
His memberships included: Plain Congregational Church, where he served as a deacon, he helped build
Lybarger Grim Post #441, Wood County Cattle Feeders, and Wood County Farm Bureau Co-Op Assn. Board from
1959-64, where he served as Vice-President in 1964. He served on Penta County’s school board when they
were founded. He was also a Little League Baseball Coach for 16 years.
He married Dorothy (Kidd) on January 3, 1948 in Bowling Green. She survives along with sons, Thomas
(Sherry) and Roger (Nancy), both of Bowling Green, OH, and Dean (Lisa) of North Baltimore, OH;
grandchildren, Andrew (Amie) Euler, Melissa Euler, Lisa (Carter) Genson, Angela (Bob) Strow, Roger
(Chasitie) Euler, Nicholas Euler, Peter Euler, and Leona Euler; stepgrandchildren, Erin (Kelly)
Courtney, Evan Kiehl, Nicholas (Lisa) Zygela, and Rachel (Denny) Nestler; 11 great-grandchildren and 4
stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, David, Alton, Arthur, and Leona.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Peinert Funeral Home, Tontogany, Ohio, from 3 to 8
p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Plain Congregational Church, Bowling Green, OH,
with Pastor Dan Vellinga officiating. Interment will follow at Tontogany Cemetery, Tontogany, OH.
Memorial contributions can be given to the church or Bridge Hospice.
