Perrysburg tax receipts rebound to 2007 levels

PERRYSBURG – City income tax collections for 2010 returned to 2007 levels, according to Tax Commissioner
Jean Hilt.
Hilt discussed the figures at council’s finance committee meeting Tuesday night.
Speaking Wednesday, Hilt said that total collections increased 7 percent, or about $857,000, over 2009.
The total income tax collected in the city amounted to approximately $13.8 million. That figure is
almost exactly what was collected by the city in 2007, she said.
Income tax collections for December were up 12 percent, or about $98,000, over the same month in 2009.

An executive session was additionally held at the meeting to discuss pending/threatening litigation and
