Feb. 4 citations:
Failure to maintain reasonable control – Kay Michniak, Tiffin.
A resident of Grand Rapids received a call in which he was told his grandson was in an accident overseas
and is in jail for three days. Though the man’s grandson is serving in the Navy, he believed the call to
be a scam to get money.
Feb. 11 citations:
Speed, driving under suspension (non-compliance/FRA suspension) – Sharon Helms, Sherwood; Joseph Weber,
Weston.
Speed, DUS (judgment suspension) – Jeremy Michaels, Wayne.
Traffic control device (stop sign) – John Goralske, Bowling Green.
An incident of threats was reported at Lakota Central Elementary School in Risingsun.
A deputy was called to assist another unit in Bairdstown after it was reported that a man was involved in
an altercation in North Baltimore and the subjects involved were supposed to be en route to his house to
cause damage.

Feb. 10
¥ at Reitz Road, three-tenths of a mile west of Ohio 25. Michael Rapp, Maumee, was cited for operation
without reasonable control, after he struck a mailbox.
Feb. 12
¥ at Ohio 18, 200 feet west of Wingston Road. Marcia Rutter, Deshler, was cited with failure to control.

¥ at Ohio 18, two-tenths of a mile east of Milton Road. Nina Proehl, Findlay, was cited with failure to
control.
¥ at 212 Krotzer Ave., Luckey. A snow plow owned by the Village of Luckey and driven by Richard Froelich,
Luckey, reportedly collided with a vehicle driven by Eve Baldwin, Luckey, who reported possible
injuries.
¥ at U.S. 20 and Bradner Road. Marcos Palacious, Fremont, was cited with failure to control.
¥ at Napoleon Road, one-tenth of a mile west of Dirlam Road. Benjamin Conners, Fremont, was cited with
failure to control.
¥ at Dowling Road and Main Road. An unknown vehicle forced the car operated by Richard Winekoff Jr., New
London, off the east side of Main Road. The vehicle then left the scene. Winekoff and his passenger were
not injured.

¥ at Ohio 105, a quarter-mile west of Silverwood Road. Charles Williams IV, Pemberville, was cited with
failure to control.
¥ at Ohio 281, one-tenth of a mile west of Weston Road. Amber Wagner, Leipsic, was cited with failure to
control.

DUS (license forfeiture), headlights – two required – Gilberto Gutierrez Jr., Fremont.
A deputy was called Feb. 13 to a bar in the 1300 block of U.S. 6, Bradner, on report of a fight in
progress outside of the establishment in which 20 people were reportedly involved. A subject with
injuries was reported and Bradner EMS was called to the scene. A white male wearing Carharts had
reportedly been disruptive and smoking in the establishment and was asked to leave by the bartender. He
left with a bottle of beer in his hand and another patron followed him out, telling him he had to bring
the beer back in. The patron was reportedly struck on the head with the bottle and the man left the area
