Pemberville celebrating art & crafts

PEMBERVILLE – The For the Love of Art exhibit and art walk will be held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. and Feb. 19 in downtown.
The focal point of the event is the exhibit of more than 200 works of art by high school students and
recent graduates.
The show was judged by artist Emanuel Enriquez The winners for Best of Show and first, second and third
place will receive cash prizes.
Musicians will perform throughout the show in the Opera House.
Art by elementary school students will be shown in 208 E. Front St. and pre-school art will be shown at
the Pemberville Public Library.
Local artists and craftworkers will displayed their wares in storefronts throughout the village. Artists
displaying work include: Janet Davis, watercolors; Wilma Ablett, mixed media; Vickie Hoffman, beaded and
wire jewelry; Kelsey Rollins, photography; Mike Sayen, pen drawings; Rebecca Hendershott, silver
jewelry; Linda Henry, dry floral arrangements; Pat Rollins, glass; Helen Hoover, doodle drawings; Debbie
Walters, postcards; and Judy Kline Valentine’s Day-themed art.

A Coffee Gallery hosted will be set up in Town Hall chambers where visitors and artist can converse.
Coffee by Java Expressions will be served Saturday; tea from The PeTEAte Parlour will be served Feb. 19.
