EMU downs Falcon swimmers
Eastern Michigan defeated Bowling Green, 158-136 in a Mid-American Conference swim meet at Cooper Pool
Friday. The Falcons won the swimming portion of the meet, 136-126.
Vicky Yu and Alexis Kahn each won two individual events for the Falcons and swam on a winning relay team.
Yu won the 100 butterfly (57.56) and 200 butterfly (2:04.40).
Kain won the 100 breast stroke (1:04.02) and 200 breast stroke (2:19.83).
Yu, Kain, Emily Bennet and Brittany Szekely combined to win the 200 medley relay (1:46.23).
Also for BG, Alexa Harris won the 200 backstroke (2:06.91).
BG is 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the MAC.
