Lake girls rout Elmwood, advance to district final (3-3-11)

WHITEHOUSE — Lake’s Kaysie Brittenham scored 37 points as the Flyer girls defeated Elmwood, 71-40, in a
Division III district semifinal at Anthony Wayne High School Thursday. PHOTO GALLERY

Lake,
ranked 2nd in the state, improved to 21-1 overall and will face eighth-ranked Genoa in Saturday’s
district final at Anthony Wayne. The Comets defeated fifth-ranked Liberty-Benton in Thursday’s other
game.
Elmwood, which finishes at 6-17 overall, was led by Reagan Briggs with 11 points.
