Cause is unknown in W. Wooster crash death

Updated:
A 57-year-old driver from Bryan died Tuesday after a three-vehicle crash in downtown Bowling Green.
Around 6:40 p.m., Rickey L. Slabaugh veered from the roadway while westbound in the 100 block of West
Wooster Street, and struck a Pontiac Grand Am parked across from the Bowling Green Police Division.
Slabaugh’s GMC Yukon pushed the Grand Am into another parked vehicle, a Volkswagen Beetle.
Both parked vehicles were unoccupied, and no pedestrians were injured.
Bowling Green EMS transported Slabaugh to the hospital.
He died at the hospital.
The Wood County Coroner will determine cause of death.
The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol was called to reconstruct the accident, causing the
closure of West Wooster Street between Main and Church streets for several hours.
