Walleye split with Florida (01-31-11)

TOLEDO – The Toledo Walleye split a pair of home games with Florida over the weekend, losing on Saturday,
7-3; and winning on Sunday, 8-4. The Walleye are 19-20-2-1 in the East Coast Hockey League.
On Sunday, Toledo scored five goals in the third period to break away from a 3-3 tie. Kyle Rogers and
Mike Hedden each scored twice to lead the Walleye, while former BGSU Falcon Jimmy Spratt stopped
31-of-35 shots.
On Saturday, Toledo’s Tyler Doig recorded a hat trick. Joe Palmer stopped 32-of-39 shots.
