Perrysburg senior Alec Schmenk has been named to Louisville Slugger’s preseason high school baseball
All-American Team.
The right-handed pitcher is 9-1 with two saves and a 1.49 earned-run average the last two seasons.
Schmenk, who has signed to play collegiately at the University of Toledo, was 6-0 with a 1.49 ERA last
season. He struck out 51 and walked eight in 50 innings, while allowing nine runs (six earned) and 33
hits.
He also has a .362 career batting average, including a .372 average last season with 13 runs batted in
