Prep Hoops: Otsego girls down Eastwood (2-17-11)

Otsego’s Hannah Greulich scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Knights posted a 44-39 Suburban
Lakes League victory over Eastwood on Thursday.
In other games in the SLL, it was: Lake 52, Genoa 38; and Elmwood 60, Gibsonburg 37.
In Northern Lakes League girls makeup games, it was: Anthony Wayne 42, Bowling Green 39; and Rossford 61,
Springfield 45.
In Midland Athletic League girls games, it was: North Baltimore 42, Old Fort 28; and New Riegel 65,
Lakota 24.
GIRLS
Otsego 44, Eastwood 39
In Tontogany, Otsego’s Morgan McCullough added 11 points as the Knights finished the regular season 8-12
overall and 6-6 in the SLL.
The Knights out-scored Eastwood 18-12 in the fourth quarter.
Diana Bushman led the Eagles, now 2-18, 1-11, with nine points.
Elmwood 60, Gibsonburg 37
In Jerry City, Sierra Beckford led the Royals with 23 points, improving Elmwood’s record to 4-15 overall
and 4-9 in the SLL.
Sam Hoffman led Gibsonburg (3-17, 1-11) with eight points.
Anthony Wayne 42, BGHS 39
Anthony Wayne overcame a 28-22 halftime deficit to beat the Bobcats.
Emma Ricketts scored scored 13 points for the Generals, now 14-5 overall and 10-3 in the NLL.
Hayley Williford led BG (11-8, 5-8) with 20 points including four 3-pointers.
Rossford 61, Springfield 45
In Holland, Abbey Geraghty scored a game-high 20 points for the Bulldogs.
Alaina Mitchell added 14 points and Kasey Geraghty had 11, as Rossford improved to 8-11, 4-9.
Springfield’s Briaunna Nix scored 11 points and Erin Delany added 10. The Blue Devils fell to 3-15, 1-12.

North Baltimore 42, Old Fort 28
In North Baltimore, Rachel Flores scored nine points to lead the Tigers as NB improved to 13-7 overall
and 5-5 in the MAL.
Brittany Stults led Old Fort (5-14, 1-9) with nine points.
New Riegel 65, Lakota 24
In New Riegel, Lakota was held to only two points in the second half of the MAL game.
