Sex offense at Weston
WESTON – A sex offense was reported Thursday morning in the village.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, the incident was reported at 10:19 a.m. at a residence in
the Lawndale trailer court, located in the 13500 block of Center Street. No other details were
available.
Ridge Street closed Monday
Ridge Street, between North Main and North Prospect streets will be closed to through traffic Monday.
Work will also continue on North Main during the week.
This work will result in lane closures and parking restrictions.
This work is being done by Columbia Gas contractors to upgrade and improve service delivery.
Monday holiday delays services
All federal, state, city and county offices will be closed Monday in observance of the President’s Day
holiday.
In Bowling Green, the holiday also will affect refuse pickup. The regular Monday collection will be on
Tuesday, Tuesday’s regular collection will be on Wednesday, and so on with Thursday’s regular routes run
on Friday.
BG City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. instead of Monday.

BG After-Prom fundraiser Mon.
The Bowling Green High School After-Prom is hosting a fundraiser Monday at East Street Café in Bowling
Green.
From 4 p.m. until closing, patrons who eat dinner at the downtown restaurant will have 20 percent of
their food bill donated to the After-Prom event.
