Lake girls beat Elmwood (1-21-11)

JERRY CITY — Fourth-ranked Lake remained undefeated Thursday night with a 47-29 win over Elmwood in a
Suburban Lakes League girls basketball game. PHOTO GALLERY

The Flyers
are 12-0 overall and 6-0 in the SLL at the halfway point of their league season. Elmwood is 2-10, 2-5.

Lake took a 14-4 lead after one quarter and still held a 24-17 lead at the half. But the Flyers put the
game in the third quarter, extending their lead to 36-19.
Kaysie Brittenham scored 19 points and Carly Huston added 15 for Lake. Elmwood was led by Brittany Gross’
10 points.
