This week’s familiar face is Helen Nietz, who taught home economics at Elmwood High School for 34 years.
For the past eight years she has been a substitute teacher at the school. Nietz and her husband, Rex,
have three children and five grandchildren all under the age of 5. The Weston native and Bowling Green
State University graduate volunteers her time on Wednesdays at Sunlight Assembly of God in Weston.
