Prep Roundup: Rossford boys top Oak Harbor in OT (03-02-11)

Rossford overcame a three-point deficit in the fourth quarter and then out-scored Oak Harbor, 12-8 in
overtime Tuesday for a 56-52 win in a Division II boys sectional semifinal basketball game at Clay.
The Bulldogs, 4-17, face top-seeded Toledo Scott for the sectional title Friday night at 8.
Also at Clay, Eastwood was a 59-58 loser to Woodward.
In Division I, Perrysburg defeated Lima Senior, 61-56.
In Division III, Otsego beat Lake, 76-60; and Western Reserve beat Lakota, 60-34.

Rossford 56,
Oak Harbor 52, OT
At Clay High School, Larry Sloan had 16 points and seven rebounds to lead three Rossford players in
double figures.
Also for the Bulldogs (4-17), Mitchell Stewart had 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Drew Brock had 10
points and eight assists.
Rossford fell behind 36-33 after three quarters after holding a 25-21 lead at the half.
Woodward 59,
Eastwood 58
At Clay High School, Eastwood couldn’t hang on after leading 31-25 at halftime.
Eastwood finished the season 8-13. Woodward is 3-16.
Jake Faykosh and Caleb Vespi each had 15 points for the Eagles, and Justin Faykosh added 10.

Western Reserve 60,
Lakota 34
At Norwalk High School, Nick McDole and Ryan Chalfin each had 12 points for Lakota (0-19).
