Curt Miller has watched his team through numerous practices and 25 games this season.
He’s still waiting to see Bowling Green come out firing on all cylinders offensively in a game.
"Is it asking too much to get all five of the starters to start to play one night, one night?"
Miller said after BG’s 74-63 win over Ohio Wednesday. "I would love to see that performance. If all
five had a good night it could be scary because we put up 77 points, playing everyone on our roster and
Lauren (Prochaska) not having a great night."
For the season, Prochaska (18.9 ppg) and Tracy Pontius (11.3 ppg) are the only Falcons averaging in
double figures.
With Prochaska and Pontius struggling with injuries in recent weeks, senior post players Maggie Hennegan
and Jen Uhl have assumed more of the offensive burden.
In 12 Mid-American Conference games, Hennegan is averaging 10.1 ppg and Uhl is at 9.0 ppg while Prochaska
is at 17.7 ppg and Pontius is at 9.1 ppg.
Sophomore Chrissy Steffen, BG’s other starter, is averaging 10.8 ppg in MAC games and 9.8 ppg overall.

At the other end of the floor, Miller has his team working on stopping dribble penetration and hitting
the defensive boards.
"Our defensive rebounding has got to be better in the big games." Miller said.
BG, 21-4 overall and 9-3 in the MAC, plays at Miami Saturday with tipoff at 2 p.m.
SCOUTING MIAMI: The RedHawks are 10-15 overall and 2-10 in the MAC after a 72-64 loss to Kent State
Thursday.
Courtney Osborn, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, scored 28 points against Kent State and is averaging 17.7 ppg.

Maggie Boyer, a 5-11 junior, is averaging 12.4 ppg.
Kirsten Olowinski, 6-1 sophomore, is averaging a double-double with 11.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per
game. She has 11 double-doubles for the season.
BG won the first meeting on Jan. 8, 90-52, as four Falcons scored in double figures. Pontius led the
defensive effort on Osborn, who was held to four points while playing 37 minutes before fouling out.
The game is a Pink Zone contest for breast cancer awareness.
