Strength training equipment from the Bowling Green company Atomic Athletic will be featured on The NBC
series "The Biggest Loser Couples."
The show has ordered a variety of equipment from the company, but owner Roger LaPointe said he doesn’t
know what will be used or when the episode will air.
For LaPointe that the show contacted him shows that the company’s training concepts, based on techniques
dating to the 19th century, are gaining recognition in the fitness community.
"Now millions and millions of people will be exposed to it… and see something I’ve produced,"
he said.
Atomic Athletic sells its own line of equipment that draws on classic strength training techniques from
America and around the world. The company has offices and warehouse on 500 Lehman St.
