Tickets available for BG-Eastern women’s game
The Bowling Green athletic ticket office has received a block of tickets at a special rate for Saturday’s
women’s basketball game at Eastern Michigan.
Fans can purchase tickets for just $3 each.
Tickets can be purchased through the athletic ticket office, by phone (877-BGSUTicket), or in person at
Anderson Arena. The ticket office is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
BG’s Lemke earns academic honor
CLEVELAND – Bowling Green State University men’s soccer player Zach Lemke has been named to the Academic
All-Mid-American Conference Team. Lemke, in his first year of eligibility for the team, earned honorable
mention.
Lemke played in 16 of BGSU’s 18 games, making 14 starts.
In the classroom, Lemke had a 3.47 cumulative grade-point average as a sport management major at the time
of nomination (prior to the end of the fall semester). Through the fall semester, Lemke’s cumulative GPA
is now 3.58.
Falcon softball team to open season
The Bowling Green Falcon softball team opens its season with five games in the LSU Tiger Classic this
week.
BG faces Louisiana Tech twice, LSU twice and Purdue once this starting Friday
The Falcons play 23 consecutive road game to open the season.
Eastwood-Woodmore boys game rescheduled
ELMORE – The Eastwood at Woodmore boys basketball game has been rescheduled for Feb. 21.
This is the second time the game has been rescheduled due to poor weather.
Elmwood boosters plan appreciation night
JERRY CITY – The Elmwood Athletic Boosters are hosting a member appreciation night on Friday from 5-6:30
p.m. prior to the girls basketball game with Woodmore.
The boosters will also be accepting memberships on Friday.
