Luella Bihn, age 92, beloved mother of Marjorie (Robert) Stoma, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed
away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre.
Luella was born December 29, 1918 in Millbury, Ohio to her parents, Louis and Jennie (Traver) Miller. She
married Richard J. Bihn on June 29, 1944. He predeceased her March 13, 1980.
Luella was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was involved in farming for most of her life.
Surviving are two children, Marjorie (Robert) Stoma, Saginaw, MI; Louis Bihn, Federal Way, WA;
grandchildren, Michelle (Daniel) Kolodziej, Commerce Township, MI; Julie Bihn, Puyallup, WA; Lorrie
(Leonard) Edson and their children.
Luella was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Nora J. Bihn, and by a sister, Mildred M. Ritter.
Luella’s family extends their thanks and appreciation to Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre for the
loving care they provided.
Friends may call at The Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Sunday, January 23 from 4 p.m. to 8
p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 24 in the
mortuary, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick’s of Heatherdowns Church at 10 a.m.
Interment at Lake Township cemetery.
