The Hump Day Revue tonight at Grumpy Dave’s, 104 S. Main St., Bowling Green, will get a head start on St.
Patrick’s Day with a show featuring Balloon Messenger.
John Tumbush will open the show at 9 p.m. with some Irish drinking songs.
Balloon Messenger is a self-described "kid from BG," who will bang his tunes evoking old-world
melodies on his six-string guitar from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Afterward Abby Ray, Bruce Lillie, Cory 7000 and the rest of the Hump Day regulars will take over as usual
and host Tim Concannon will offer an Irish toast at midnight. Anyone interested in performing should
stop by and ask for Concannon.
