Baked steak Friday at Weston
WESTON – American Legion Post No. 409 will serve a baked steak supper on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
A donation of $8 is requested, and carryout will be available.
There will be no fish fry this week.
Lake Twp. hosts chili cook-off
MILLBURY – A chili and soup cook-off to benefit Lake Township parks will be held Saturday at the Ayers
Road fire station.
Registration is at noon. Judging and public tasting, for a donation, starts at 1 p.m. There will also be
a silent auction that ends at 2:30 p.m.
Awards will be given for people’s choice, judges’ choice, savory soup and in the business category.

Fish fry Friday at BG VFW
A yellow lake perch fish fry will be held Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at VFW Post 1148, 719 S. Main St.
The all-you-can eat dinner includes cole slaw, baked beans and French fries, for $11 each.
Revolving loan meeting Friday
Bowling Green’s Revolving Loan Fund Committee will review an application for a small business loan
Friday.
The 2:30 p.m. meeting will be held in the Bowling Green Community Develop-ment Foundation office, 121 E.
