BG tennis loses
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bowling Green’s tennis team was a 7-0 loser Friday to Louisville in the season-opening
dual match for both teams.
BG Parks and Rec men’s basketball league set
The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is opening registration for its adult men’s basketball
league.
League play will take place on Sunday afternoons at 1, 2, 3 or 4 p.m. beginning Feb. 13, at the Bowling
Green Community Center.
A maximum of six teams will be able to participate. For a six-team league, there will be five
regular-season games followed by a season-ending single-elimination tournament. Level of play is
semi-competitive to competitive.
Team fees are $120 for the season and an additional $20 per game for officials. Participants who are
non-residents of the city of Bowling Green will pay an annual non-resident fee before the season begins.

The first six teams to pay in full will be entered in the league. The registration deadline is Jan. 28.
