TODAY
The Bowling Green Philharmonia and University Choral Society will perform Beethoven’s Mass in C at 8 p.m.
in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. Also on the program will be Dmitri Kabalevsky’s
"Colas Breugnon" and Paul Hindemith’s "Mathis der Maler." Tickets are $13 and $10
for senior citizens at the door.
THURSDAY
The Music at the Forefront Series concludes with a performance by the XASAX saxophone quartet at 8 p.m.
in Bryan Recital Hall.
FRIDAY
An opening reception for the MFA Thesis Exhibition II will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dorothy Uber
Bryan and Willard Wankelman galleries in the Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday-Saturday, 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. Through May 3.
Praecepta, the BGSU student chapter of the Society of Composers, will present a recital at 6 p.m. in the
Choral Rehearsal Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.

As part of the BGSU Lab School, the Saint Aloysius School Band will play at 7 p.m. in Kobacker Hall.
APRIL 29
The College of Musical Arts holds its Honors and Awards Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
MAY 1
"Easy Living," a 1937 screwball comedy starring Jean Arthur, Ray Milland, William Demarest and
Edward Arnold, will be shown at 3 p.m. in Gish Film Theater in Hanna Hall. "The River," a
short, 1931 documentary about the Mississippi River, will also be shown. Jan Wahl will be host.
AT THE GALLERIES
"Maratha Temples," an exhibit of photographs of Indian temples by Ashutosh Sohoni, continues
through May 7 in the Bowling Green State University Union Art Gallery.
