Nolan Culver scored four goals Friday to lead fifth-ranked Northview to a 6-0 win over Bowling Green in a
Northwest Hockey Conference Red Division game at the Ice Arena.
The Wildcats built a 3-0 lead during the first 11 minutes of the game and finished with a 27-23 edge in
shots on goal.
Nate Gay and Nick Morris combined for 21 saves for BG.
Northview is 15-6-3 overall and 5-1 in the division. BG is 7-13-2, 0-5.
BOYS BOWLING
Rossford rebounds in Bakers
In Toledo, Rossford overcame an 88-pin deficit with only two Baker games remaining on Thursday to defeat
Springfield, 2,589-2,505 in Northern Lakes League action at Southwyck Lanes.
Springfield led 2,020-1,978 after the two standard games and built the lead with a 211-165 advantage in
the first game. Rossford (5-1 overall and 4-1 in the NLL) then took control with games of 234 and 212;
while Springfield managed only 110 and 164.
Cory Zalesak led the Bulldogs with games of 246 and 247 for a 493 total. Tony McCoy rolled a 244 for 433;
with Jake Cook adding a 238.
Perrysburg falls to Maumee
Maumee topped Perrysburg 2,538-2,275. The Yellow Jackets dropped to 1-4 in the NLL. Maumee had a 668
Baker series to seal the victory.
Jeremy Ashley led Perrysburg with a 207 game and 398 total. Tony Batey added a 201 for 391 and John Stout
had a 200, 183.
BG easily tops AW
In Rossford, Bowling Green easily defeated Anthony Wayne, 2,478-2,077 at Interstate Lanes to remain tied
for the NLL lead. BG is 6-2, 4-1.
Ryan Chesser led the Bobcats with a 256 game and 451 total. Cameron Walter added 212, 415.

Rossford beat Springfield, 2,011-2,008. Chase Bitz led the Bulldogs (3-3, 2-3) with games of 228 and 223
for a 451 total.
Maumee defeated Perrysburg 2,139-1,726. Austin Wallace led the ‘Jackets with a 187 game and 310 total.

Bowling Green defeated Anthony Wayne, 1,996-1,227. Tyler Desmond led BG with a 188 game and 318 total.
