Wilda Mae Miller, age 50, of Citra, Florida, formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday (January 30,
2011) at her home.
She was born on April 15, 1960 in Findlay, Ohio to Larry R. and Lorraine O. (Thomas) White, Sr. She first
married Michael Dominique, Sr. and they divorced. She then married Glenn Miller on October 27, 2001.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn of Citra; father, Larry (Donna) White, Sr. of Wayne; step-grandmother,
Mary Jane Thomas of Merimack, Mass, sons, Michael (Brandie) Dominique, Jr. of Toledo, Joshua (Alisha)
Dominique of Temperance, Michigan; daughter, Carrie Hall of Toledo; sisters, Evelyn (Chester) Stiger of
Fostoria, Lorri (Steed) Dilgard of Findlay, Sharon (Rick) Taulker, Jr. of Bradner; grandchildren,
Dominic Powell, Wyatt Dominique, Billy Dominique and Paige Hall.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine White; Carrie’s father, Douglas Johnson; daughter,
Lesley Dominique; brother, Larry White, Jr.
Wilda was a nurse’s aide, member of Simmon’s Baptist Church in Citra and bowled in THE MISFIT’S bowling
league.
She loved to crochet blankets for her kids and grandkids, bowling, family, friends, reading Christian
books and was very proud of being a mom and grandma. She also loved to watch the cartoon show
Scooby-Doo.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday (February 6, 2011) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne,
Ohio, with a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. Tuesday (February 8, 2011) at the Church of Christ
in Wayne with Pastor John Amstutz officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery near Wayne with a
bereavement luncheon to follow back at the church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s
Hospital.
