Perrysburg JH teachers go global

PERRYSBURG — Eight Perrysburg Junior High School faculty members attended the Global Institute at Kent
State University in August.
The institute is designed for teams of teachers to begin or enhance the international perspective in
their schools. One hundred teachers were selected to attend.
Attending from Perrysburg were Justin Badik, Diane Barnes, Jennifer Casey, Bill Hilt, Sara Kurtz, Robin
Laird, Tom Przybylski and Julie Twining.
The institute addressed three questions: why internationalize, how can instruction be more international,
and how does technology enhance internationalization.
