Naturalists to feature Alaska
Toledo Naturalists’ Association will feature "Birds, Bears, and the Boreal Realm: An Alaska Wildland
Safari" at its Aug. 15 program.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Anderson’s Activity Center, 1833 South Holland-Sylvania Road,
Toledo.
The public is invited.
Antique machinery show runs Thursday through Sunday
The Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Association will hold its 38th annual show Thursday through Sunday
at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, located on East Sandusky Street, Findlay.
Daily admission is $3; children 15 years and under are admitted free with an adult. Seniors, age 60 and
older will be admitted for $1 on Thursday. Memberships can be purchased at the show for $5 for all four
days.
Camping is available on the grounds for a fee.
This year’s show features Minneapolis Moline tractors and equipment and Delco Light Plant gas engines.

There should be about 500 tractors and 600 gas engines, plus antique scooters, motorcycles, and garden
tractors on display.
There is also a large flea market as well as an arts and crafts on display.
A Trading Post of miscellaneous tractor and engine parts is also available as well as food vendors.
Events and contests will include a truck and tractor pull at 5 p.m, Thursday.
Other events offered include a back seat drivers contest, tractor rodeo, kids pedal tractor pull, garden
tractor pull, back to back truck pull and a tractor square dance.
