BG sets special council meeting
The special meeting of Bowling Green City Council is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the City Administrative
Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
Council will consider an ordinance to prepare and submit an application to participate in the Ohio Public
works commission State Capital Improvement Program and/or Local Transportation Improvement Programs, and
to execute contracts.
?Young Ones? program planned
Registration is now open for the Fall Sessions of Young Ones and Companions at the Wintergarden/St.
John?s Nature Preserve.
The monthly program includes a story, a short nature hike and an art project for that month?s theme.
Dates for the Thursday Session are Sept. 3, Oct. 1, Nov. 5 and Dec. 3. Dates for the Friday Session are
Sept. 4, Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4.
The program is conducted from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for children ages 2.5 to 5 years.
The cost for a session is $15 for Bowling Green residents and $18 for non-residents. Register on-line at

BG meter work
Bowling Green is in the process of replacing or upgrading all utility customer meters with the
installation of a Two-Way Automated Communications System.
