Two Lake Elementary students were honored at last week’s board of education meeting for taking regional
honors for a severe weather poster contest. Kristen Deal was the state winner and Jared Orth was also
recognized. The two are in Donna Mominee’s gifted class and created the posters as part of a science
project.
