Risingsun man must register as a sex offender for unlawful conduct with a minor

Tim Johnson, of Risingsun, has been sentenced to three years community control for his conviction of
unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Judge Reeve Kelsey handed down the sentence Sept. 14.
Johnson, 20, must register as a Tier II sexual offender. In addition, his sentence requires the
completion and cooperation in several programs including the SEARCH program of the Northwest Community
Corrections Center; Intensive Supervision Probation Program; a substance abuse program; mental health
counseling; a 12-step treatment program and a sexual offender treatment program. He also must pay a $500
fine.
A separate count of rape was dismissed through a plea agreement. The female victim was 14 at the time of
the incidents in October, 2008.
Among other recent sentencings by Wood County Common Pleas Court judges:
¥ Arthur Tooks, 56, of Toledo, was sentenced by Kelsey to two years in prison for possession of cocaine.
He was also ordered to pay a fine of $1,000. In addition, $226 seized at this arrest shall be forfeited
to the Perrysburg Police Department.
¥ Christopher Charniga was sentenced to prison on two separate counts for a total of 21 months by Judge
Alan Mayberry. He was sentenced to nine months for receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. He
also was found guilty of a community control violation from his 2008 case of his receiving stolen
property charge in that matter. Mayberry sentenced him to one year for that charge and ordered the
sentences to be served consecutively.
¥ Brandon Radulski, 26, of Toledo, was sentenced to eight months in prison by Judge Robert Pollex on one
count of receiving stolen property with a specification. His conviction is a fourth-degree felony. A
second count was dismissed at sentencing.
¥ Kim Matthew Simmons, 32, Findlay, was sentenced to nine months in prison by Mayberry for complicity to
breaking and entering.
¥ Robert King, 49, of Oregon, was sentenced to seven months in prison by Pollex. King was found to be in
violation of his community control conditions for his theft conviction in a 2007 case.
¥ Bryan Koliba, 33, Rossford, was sentenced to seven months in prison by Pollex, for his probation
violation of his drug possession charge from a 2005 case.
¥ Phillip H. Chapman, 32, of Fostoria, was found guilty of one count of burglary. Pollex ordered him to
pay restitution in the amount of $3,211 and be placed on community control sanctions for three years.
Koliba must also spend 60 days in the the Wood County jail, but is eligible for work release privileges.
He must also complete the SEARCH program and perform 120 hours of community service.
