BG native Euler Halling receives lifetime honor

NEW YORK — Insight Communications Company recently announced that senior vice president, Pam Euler
Halling, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by CableFAX Magazine at a ceremony in New York City.

Also accepting awards at the ceremony were Suze Orman, host of “The Suze Orman Show” on CNBC, and Dan
Rather, host of “Dan Rather Reports” on HDNet.
Euler Halling was born and raised in Bowling Green where she graduated from Bowling Green High School in
1965 and from Bowling Green State University in 1969. She is the daughter of Mrs. Gaylon Euler of Euler
Road in Bowling Green and the late Gaylon Euler.
Euler Halling started her career in cable more than 30 years ago in Findlay with Conti-nental
Cablevision. She worked for Cox Com-munications, Rainbow Programming and Walt Disney Company before
joining Insight Com-munications in 1988.
During her tenure at Insight, she has managed multiple departments and played critical roles for projects
that have had far-reaching impact on the cable industry. She was instrumental in the early development
and deployment of Insight’s digital strategy and was part of the team that rolled out the country’s
first video on demand service in 1998.
In her current position as senior vice president-brand, she was responsible for the development of an
entirely new look for the company and among the promotions she spearheaded was a series of on-air brand
spots featuring Insight’s CEO Michael Willner that received ubiquitous acclaim for their originality and
self-deprecating humor.
According to Willner: “Pam has worked with me for the past 20 years and I can’t imagine that we would be
the successful company that we are, if she hadn’t been here. She has played an instrumental role in more
projects than space allows me to recount, most recently the re-creation of our brand to one that
genuinely reflects the Insight personality and has moved the likeability needle with customers.”
Euler Halling has been honored several times by the cable industry. In 2001, she was awarded the Vanguard
Award for Marketing. The Van-guard Awards are the most prestigious awards conferred by the cable
industry’s trade association, the National Cable & Telecom-munications Association. In 2003,
Multichannel News, an industry publication, named her a Wonder Woman of the Year and she has won several
marketing awards for marketing excellence.
