Jail sentences levied for receiving stolen property, community control violations

Jeromy Danielski, 21, of Perrysburg, appeared before Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Reeve Kelsey on
July 20 for three separate cases of receiving stolen property. Two of the counts were fourth degree
felonies, while the other was a fifth-degree felony. He previously entered a plea of guilty on all three
counts.
Kelsey ordered him to 90 days in the Wood County jail, and a total of more than $13,100 in restitution to
various victims. He also must complete 200 hours of community service.
The original indictments indicated he was in possession of jewelry that had been stolen from a Perrysburg
home in October 2008; it also indicated the September theft of a shotgun.
The judge also placed him on community control sanctions for five years.
Kelsey also recently sentenced Arthur Fonseca, 36, with a last listed address in Toledo, to two years in
prison. Fonseca was arrested on an outstanding warrant earlier this year. The warrant was issued after
he failed to appear in December of 2006 for a further pre-trial conference in his case. He appeared on
June 15 for sentencing after previously pleading guilty to a forgery count, a felony of fifth degree.
Fonseca was sentenced to 11 months for that charge. Kelsey also sentenced him to two years for a
community control violation from a burglary charge from 2002.
Fonseca also was sentenced to 12 months in prison for a second community control violation. This one
stemmed from a 2001 case where he was found guilty of disrupting public services. All three prison terms
are to be served concurrently for the aggregate total of two years.
Fonseca also will serve three years of post release control with the Parole Board.
Others recently sentenced to prison by Kelsey, with age, date charge and sentence, include:
¥ Earl Matthews III, 28, Aug. 3, trafficking in cocaine, two counts one second degree and one first
degree felony; and complicity to trafficking in drugs; six years aggregate total with two, three and one
year, respectively to be served consecutively; and forfeiture of 1997 Ford Expedition to Wood County
Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force;
