Ruth George weds Dan Myatt

GRAND RAPIDS – Nazareth Hall was the setting for the Aug. 16 wedding of Ruth George and Daniel Myatt.
Pastor Jeff Wheeland conducted the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Phil and Jane George, West Poe Road, Bowling Green. The groom’s parents are
Mike and Jane Myatt, Newberg, Ore.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless white satin and organza ball gown with beaded
corset lace-up bodice and chapel train. She chose a fingertip length, two-tiered veil with pearl beaded
edging.
Sister of the bride Sara Lewis, Perrysburg. was the matron of honor.
Maids of honor were Allison Eldridge, Bowling Green, and Amy Alliman, Orlando, Fla.
Grace Finn, Weston; Lisa Underwood, Swanton; and sister of the groom Amanda Walker, Newberg, were
bridesmaids.
The attendants all wore strapless champagne satin tea-length dresses.
Flower girl was Ann Livingston of Monmouth, Ore., cousin of the groom. She wore a sleeveless white satin
and organza dress with a champagne sash.
Keith Speers, Albuquerque, N.M., served as best man.
Ushers were Raymond George of Bowling Green, brother of the bride; Ryan Miller, Niceville, Fla.; Andrew
Atkinson, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Ryan Laine, Charlottesville, Va.; and Tyler Walker of Newberg,
brother-in-law of the groom.
A reception was held in the Lady Glen Ballroom of Nazareth Hall, with music furnished by Decorative
Sound.
Following a honeymoon trip to Oahu, Hawaii, the newlyweds are making their home at 1501 N. Partin Dr,
Unit 251, Niceville, Fla. 32578.
The bride graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2006 and is employed as a patient care technician.

The groom graduated from Beaverton High School, Oregon, in 2004 and the University of Virgina in 2008. He
is presently serving in the U.S. Air Force as an explosive ordnance disposal technician.
